Same operator as a twin village of food stalls a thousand km away, in Asahikawa, Hokkaido.
About ten small venues (a sports bar, a tavern with fried chicken and drinks on draught, a dessert bar, a café) share a single covered space a stone's throw from Karato Market and the Kameyama Hachiman-gū shrine, in the heart of the neighbourhood that for centuries was the administrative and commercial centre of Shimonoseki. It is run by the same company, 株式会社ここはれて, which has opened an identical complex in Asahikawa, in Hokkaido, a thousand kilometres away at the other end of Japan.
Multi-outlet dining complex, opened in recent years as part of the revitalisation of Karato's historic centre, the neighbourhood that since the Edo period has housed Shimonoseki's markets and administrative offices.
ℹ️ Opening hours and closing day vary from venue to venue: there is no single gate with its own hours. Address: 〒750-0004 山口県下関市中之町1-16. No car park of its own: you use the public car parks in the Karato neighbourhood.
