At 513 m, between late September and early December, the sea of clouds covers the valley at dawn.
From the 513 metres of the Kunimigaoka viewpoint, on the right mornings between late September and early December (clear skies for two or three days, a large temperature range, no wind), a sea of clouds fills the valley below until an hour after dawn. The viewing point is three minutes' walk from the car park, along an accessible path.

ℹ️ You can only get there by car: about 2.5 km of paved two-lane mountain road, 5 km from the town centre. From late September to December, at dawn, it is the classic spot for the sea of clouds.
