The model for Kagabe High School in the film, and the school itself says so on its website: ‘the grounds and buildings of the school that is the setting of the film are modelled on our school’. In the film you can recognise the main building, the roof and the corridor connecting to the gym. At the premiere on 29 October 2021 the students sent as a gift a video of the choir singing the film's theme.
