8,000 m² of greenhouse held at 20°C: over 10,000 begonias and fuchsias in bloom all year round.
The park, overlooking Lake Shinji on a 32-hectare hill, is built around a central greenhouse of about 8,000 square metres kept at about 20°C, where over 10,000 begonias, fuchsias and coleus are permanently in bloom; it is among the largest display greenhouses in the world. A second, 130-metre-long production greenhouse grows the replacement plants at different temperatures for day and night. An ‘owl house’ lets you get close to several species of owl.
Theme park dedicated to flowers and birds, opened on 23 July 2001 in Matsue and run by the Ichibata group. It covers 32 hectares on the north-west shore of Lake Shinji.
