Twenty-six stalls in a row: in 2024 thirteen new places renewed half of them.
In the heart of Hachinohe, between the streets of San-nichi-machi and Roku-nichi-machi, twenty-six small places stand side by side along a covered alley in yatai (stall) style: in 2024 thirteen new businesses took the place of the same number that had left, renewing almost half the row. The alley itself is designed to be accessible (a step-free route and an accessible toilet), which is rare in a ramshackle row of this kind.
Row of small eateries and bars in stall style in the centre of Hachinohe, run as a shared neighbourhood facility.
ℹ️ Public alley, always accessible; the individual places keep their own evening hours (information from the area office, tel. 0178-38-3692, 9:00–17:00). 10 minutes’ walk from Hon-Hachinohe, 15 minutes by bus from JR Hachinohe, 7 minutes by car from the Hachinohe interchange.
