Nemophila, roses, lavender, red kochia colour the park in every season, always with Fuji in the background.
On the north shore of Lake Kawaguchi, a flower walk (‘flower promenade’) changes its look four times a year: blue nemophila in April–May, roses in late May–June, about three thousand lavender plants between late June and mid-July, kochia turning from green to red between August and October, always with Fuji in the background. The herb festival that went with the lavender (河口湖ハーブフェスティバル) ended in 2025: the flowers remain, the event does not.
Public lakeside park in the municipality of Fujikawaguchiko, on the northern shore of Lake Kawaguchi, with the Kawaguchiko Natural Life Hall building and a large children's play area.
ℹ️ Free entry, always accessible. Free car park with about 150 spaces, also for tour buses.
