The park where Subaru and Rintarō meet, one of the most recurrent backgrounds in the series: it appears in the opening sequence and in episodes 4, 5, 6 and 11. The scenes are at night, and the street lamp, slide and benches can be recognised one by one, even though the play equipment has changed since the footage was taken; there is also a clock tower in the park. It is the park near Kaoruko and Subaru's home, where the two played as children: in episode 6 it is here that Subaru apologises to Rintarō for telling him not to see Kaoruko, and in episode 11 Rintarō passes through carrying the homemade cake for Kaoruko's birthday. On the pavement in front of ライオンズマンション西麻布第2, 90 m to the east, Kaoruko and Subaru walk after the park scene (episode 6). In the manga, in chapter 30, the two say goodbye after the cake in front of テラス笄町, 190 m to the east, while the anime has them say goodbye inside the park itself; chapter 9 is the park's other appearance in the manga. The Japanese Red Cross Medical Center, which serves as the background to the umbrella scene in the opening sequence, now has its own marker, 350 m to the south-west on the same Nissekidōri.
