Live-action filming location (2023): the anime series is set in an imaginary empire of the Meiji-Taishō era, with no stated real-world models. Here it is the home of the Saimori family. The hall of the Western-style wing is the Saimori entrance, the ground-floor dining room is Kaya's room, the first-floor study hosts the tea scene, and the corridor of the Japanese-style wing and the 一の間, the family meetings. The 旧高須御殿 is Miyo's room before the wedding and the 一番蔵 storehouse the one she is locked in; the cherry tree stump that serves as a narrative key was placed in the garden.
