In 1902 it was Japan's first soda fountain: the ice cream is still made by hand.
It opened in 1902 as the first ice cream and soda water fountain in Japan, inside the Shiseido pharmacy in Ginza. The ‘Salon de Café’ room dates from 1973, but the ice cream is still made by hand every day, to the same recipe as back then.
Third floor of the Shiseido building, at Ginza 8-8-3. The interior does not entirely match the one drawn, and of the menu seen in the anime only the shortcake really exists.
ℹ️ No photography inside.
