At 229 metres, with no glass over your head: it is the actual roof of a skyscraper.
The observation deck is on the roof of Shibuya Scramble Square, at 229 metres, and is divided into three parts: the covered way up (Sky Gate), the real open-air roof (Sky Stage) and an indoor gallery (Sky Gallery). Sky Stage is the part that sets it apart from Tokyo's other viewpoints: no glass between the viewer and the city.
It stands above the Shibuya crossing, the most photographed in Tokyo, and gives a view of it from above.
ℹ️ ⚠️ It is best to book the ticket online in advance: prices have changed twice, in 2023 and in 2025, and the official ticket page should be checked for the current price. Last entry one hour before closing.
